At The Study at Yale, a lifestyle hotel, we’ve created an atmosphere of quiet reflection and sophistication by way of our amenities.
If you hadn’t already made a selection from our “Enhance Your Stay” list of popular favorites when making your reservation, grab an apple (or two) and dip into the jar for a few of our signature gingersnap cookies when checking in. If you need a caffeine fix, or maybe a soothing cup of hot tea before heading up to your room, our Front Desk agent will gladly have one prepared for you. When you arrive in your room you’ll find complimentary bottled water to quench your thirst, replenished daily during your stay.
The Living Room/Lobby, outfitted with soft lounge chairs, an array of daily periodicals, and a floor-to-ceiling bookcase filled with a selection of books chosen by the renowned Strand Book Store in New York City, invites our guests to linger. An Apple workstation is available 24 hours a day. Should you need an iPad for use, send a fax, copy or print a document, just stop by the Front Desk. Our 24-hour Lobby Café serving Illy coffee drinks and a variety of teas, juices and bottled beverages, is stocked with pastries and a healthy assortment of other delights made daily in-house for your enjoyment while relaxing in the Living Room, in the privacy of your room, or takeout for the guest on the go. For those guests who are early risers, we offer complimentary Illy coffee (in to-go cups!) to start your day.
Heirloom restaurant supports the heritage growers and neighboring artisan suppliers of Connecticut and New England for our sustainable Farm Coastal inspired cuisine. Heirloom is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our popular weekend brunch.
Heirloom lounge offers a selection of small plates to entice your palate that can be paired with a hand-crafted beer, a signature cocktail, or a wine by the glass selected from a distinctive list of wines compiled by our Sommelier from regions all over the world.
And of course, our “Food For Thought” in-room dining menu is available throughout the day and evening, from 6am to midnight.
The Fitness Center’s cardio machines are equipped with built-in televisions and wireless iPod hookups. For those guests wanting a more challenging workout during their stay, complimentary passes to the Payne Whitney Gym located on the Yale campus are available at the Front Desk.
